Why the flight number is not enough
Emirates is fitting Starlink to its Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 fleet one aircraft at a time, as each plane goes through maintenance. The rollout started on 23 November 2025 and Emirates is targeting the whole 777 and A380 fleet by mid-2027. Until then, the same flight number can be flown by a Starlink aircraft one day and an older one the next.
Starlink Wi-Fi on Emirates is free for every passenger in every cabin. Aircraft without it still use the older OnAir service, which is paid unless you hold the right Skywards tier. Knowing the aircraft tells you which one you will get.
This tracker combines the FlyerTalk community list, onboard measurements from starlinkflights.com and first-hand reports, and marks each aircraft as confirmed, unconfirmed or checked without Starlink. Read how we verify tails.
Common questions
Is Emirates Starlink Wi-Fi free?
Yes. On Starlink-equipped aircraft, Wi-Fi is free for all passengers in all cabins, with no Skywards membership needed.
When will every Emirates plane have Starlink?
Emirates says its 232 Boeing 777s and A380s will be fitted by mid-2027, at about 14 aircraft per month. The A350 is not part of the announced rollout yet.
Can my aircraft change after I check?
Yes. Airlines swap aircraft, sometimes on the day. Check the registration again shortly before departure.
My aircraft is not listed. Does it have Starlink?
Probably not yet, but lists lag behind installs. If you fly it and find Starlink, report it and we will add it.
